About

Carrie Spindler, the owner of the GoodieBox Bakeshop, sold her first cupcake September 2009 in the corner of a little neighborhood wine shop in Weehawken, NJ. With limited resources and a whole lot of vision, she rented the kitchen of a local restaurant where every morning she baked up goodies to cart to her cupcake corner in the wine store to sell. The neighborhood took notice and folks began stopping in for baked treats when their sweet tooth beckoned. The GoodieBox Bakeshop soon began to gain a small following.

As word spread about her homemade cakes and cupcakes, the GoodieBox began to get requests from New York City, filling orders for large corporate events and celebrities. She began baking cakes for birthdays and specialty occasions for one of the most successful restaurants in Hoboken, NJ and was featured on WE TV, sharing her story of bouncing back from a corporate layoff to pursue her passion.

In September of 2012, she opened the door to a little kitchen in Hoboken that she could make her own and rebuild the GoodieBox Bakeshop. Sadly, this location wasn't meant to be, with Hurricane Sandy destroying the whimsical little kitchen two weeks before the grand opening.

This little baker is determined to make her dream come true and when once (or twice) you don't succeed, try and try again! In January of 2014 she opened a new location in Cliffside park, New Jersey specializing in whimsical goodies and fabulous cake parties serving  Northern New Jersey and Manhattan.

Carrie is now baking her cake and eating it too!
